Our two-year, full-time Master of Public Policy program offers more than the typical policy research and data analysis education found at other public policy schools. Hear from Amanda Crombie, Director of Academic Programs, and Kristine Nelson, Assistant Director of Academic Programs and Registrar, on the specifics of the two-year MPP curriculum.

Co-hosted by the UVA Career Center and the Batten School, this panel will introduce you to various careers in public service—from nonprofits and public interest groups, to research institutions and think tanks, to government and the private sector—and steps you can take now to begin to prepare for service at the local, state, federal, or international level.

Teams of eager students will join our expert facilitators for a design sprint on ways that innovative startups can respond to the new environment we find ourselves in due to the pandemic. They will review ideas submitted by alumni and partners as jumping off points to design around for the Social Entrepreneurship Track of the UVA Entrepreneurship Cup and Fall Social Entrepreneurship courses.

Join Women in Policy for a discussion with Allison Hunn. Hunn is a Policy Advisor for Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR), focusing on the Economy and Democracy Reform. Prior to joining the Hill, she worked in El Paso, Texas as National Policy Chief of Staff for Beto O'Rourke's presidential bid. Allison previously served as a Legal Policy Analyst for the litigation non-profit, Democracy Forward and in the Obama Administration’s White House Office of Cabinet Affairs.
