Since we can’t change the weather, we’ll have to learn to weather the change. Join Erin Henshaw from The Mind Body Project for an all-levels weekly mindfulness program where we will journal, practice breathwork, complete a 30-minute movement practice for grounding and energy flow and end with a group sharing circle. Struggling with a particular mindset, discomfort or challenge? Want to request that we include a particular mindfulness practice or share something on your mind? Please email erin@themindbodyproject.com Erin Henshaw Erin Lee Henshaw is a UVA alum with experience leading trauma-sensitive programming in the US and abroad. She understands the unique challenges of being a UVA student trying to find meaning in personal work within the context of greater society. As an entrepreneur, small business owner and trauma sensitive facilitator, she has learned to welcome change with an open mind...and is still learning. Erin has run trainings and programs in South Africa, China and the United States and is currently developing support programs for teachers, nurses and communities. She believes that the foundation of personal resilience and enhanced mental health can be found in science-backed breath, movement and mindset tools, and that applied mindfulness can lead to sweeping cultural change.
