Dominica Sunset

UVA’s Dominica Field Experience is a 3-credit May term course focused on social entrepreneurship on the Caribbean island of Dominica. This incredible course gives students the opportunity to explore Dominica, meet with local entrepreneurs, and understand how resources and policy support entrepreneurship. Spend two weeks on the Nature Island exploring social entrepreneurship - not to mention hiking waterfalls - and still get back in time for your summer internship.

With one week of in-person class now complete, students, including third-year Batten student Sydney Cherry, reflect on their first time in a classroom in six months.
